The Counselling dates for NEET 2025 have been announced, and tension is gripping the minds of NEET 2025 qualified aspirants. The Medical Council Committee (MCC) has announced the dates for counselling, set from July 21 to October 03, 2025, and shall last in four rounds of counselling. The process is highly systematic, and you are expected to be calm and alert during the counselling sessions. You are advised to be attentive when locking colleges at the centre and state levels. Before that, you must understand a fact that a NEET aspirant qualified for admission must know the percentage of allotment at the Centre and State level.
The top NEET rank holders can apply for admission to AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, ESIC, AFMC & all deemed universities.
At the state level, 15 percent of NEET-qualified candidates (All India Quota) are accommodated in all government colleges.
At the state level, 100 percent of private colleges are open to state-qualified students and NEET-qualified students.

The medical counselling committee has organized four stages in filling the vacancies of the NEET-qualified candidates for admissions.
The stages are Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round.
The counsel has categorically confirmed the registration date, the beginning, and the end of each stage.

In the UG State Schedule tabular column, each field defines a specific parameter, such as state-level dates for counseling, document verification dates, and the last date to join college.

In the UG Central Schedule tabular column, the central level, registration/payment, choice filling & locking, process of seat allotment, results, reporting, and verification of joined candidates at the university and college levels.
You must have qualified in the NEET UG 2025 exam.
You must apply for counselling through the MCC website on the announced dates.
Admissions are conducted through NEET counselling for Deemed University, Central University, ESIC, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
15 percent of the NEET qualified are allowed to apply to the medical colleges run at the state level.
To seek admission, you must be an Indian citizen, OCI, or NRI as per the category you are applying for.
You must hold valid documents, NEET rank card, marks cards of Class 10 & 12, ID proof, and passport photographs, if applicable.
If you belong to any of the following reserved categories, such as SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwD, the appropriate certificate must be uploaded during the registration process.
You must enter MCC official website @ mcc.nic.in.
On the homepage, click the UG Medical Counselling Link and enter your NEET roll number, application number, name, and DOB.
You must pay the registration fee online by using a debit or credit card, or opt for net banking.
After completing the registration, you must log in to enter your chosen colleges and courses.
You must lock your selected colleges and courses before the deadline.
You must wait until the seat allotment list is released for each round and decide whether to move on to the next round or not.
For every cancellation of a seat admission or leave a seat, your security deposit and registration fee shall be refunded.
Important Note:
In case you skip taking admission or leave a seat, your deposit may be forfeited.
You must submit the NEET-UG 2025 admit card and scorecard.
You must support with Class 10 & Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
As proof of Nationality, you must produce ID proof such as an Aadhaar card or a passport, or any other applicable document.
If you belong to the Economically Weaker Section or PwD, then you must submit a certificate of proof, whichever is applicable.
If you are applying for admission under the state-domicile category, then you must provide a residence certificate.
You must keep a copy of your passport photos, allotment letter, and fee payment receipt.

You must fill in your selected colleges and courses, and lock your selection. MCC will release the seat allotment at the end of each round.
If you are allotted a seat of your choice, you can download the allotment letter and log in using your credentials.
You must waste no time and report your allotment to the concerned medical or dental college within the stipulated framework.
You must carry original documents and pay the admission fees.
You must confirm admission and stop, else proceed to the next round.

In the stray vacancy round, candidates who have moved through the three rounds can apply.
